  1. I will trade my 2009 Toyota for your fancy station wagon. Trouble is, l don’t think we could drive them close enough together to make the swap. My car has “batteryitas”. And when I want to go. It wants to stop. I love you too much to do that to my sweet friend. Love VM

  2. A Happy New Year to you and your family and also to Jimmy Cramer. I enjoyed meeting both of you at the Days of the Pioneer Show and love my books. Maybe our paths will cross again in 2018. You never know, I may run across you on the streets of Galax. Be safe, happy and healthy!…….Teresa

  4. Jill, this is the sweetest photo of you and this fabulous van!! Oh my goodness how cool that vehicle is and I bet it is full of treasures just like others here have suggested. Happy New Year and I am excited to be tagging along with all of the other ASL friends as you crisscross the US and uncover beautiful homes, heart warming stories, and share the lives of fellow devotees of simple and historical preservation. It is going to be a fun year!

  5. Happy New Year to everyone at ASL!!!! I get so excited whenever I see cool rides…love the rat rod!!! There must be a story to go with it?!?!
My fantasy ride is a ’67 Mustang fastback LOL!!! Cars are just like everything else…they just don’t make ’em like they used to. Jill, wishing you many fun adventures in 2018!

    1. We are two peas, Donna! I had a ’65 fastback that was my dream car too. It was very special, but just sat in the garage to be admired! So I finally sold it and wanted a Daily Driver … thus the Rat Rod was built. There certainly is a story … to be told one day! ha! Love to you and Ralph! Hope you’re staying warm!
